Short Term Relief Teachers
St Mark’s is looking to build its relief teacher register and would love to hear from certificated teachers who would be available to teach on a casual basis within the School.

To apply for a position as a relief teacher, you must be fully qualified as a teacher and hold a current New Zealand practicing certificate, issued by the Teaching Council NZ. You must also have the right to work in New Zealand as a New Zealand citizen or resident, or be the holder of a suitable work visa.

Teacher Assistant and ESOL Teacher Assistant
We are seeking applicants for a Teacher Assistant with experience in ESOL and/or working with neurodivergent students. This position could be a full-time fixed term position, or could be split into two roles. The Teacher Assistant position is for 4 days per week and the ESOL position is currently for 1 day per week, during term time.

Applications will have some experience in these specific fields, a flexible, positive, proactive attitude. The successful applicant will work in the Primary School under the direction of the Dean of Wellbeing and Inclusion and the ESOL Coordinator. A current first aid certificate, a patient and empathetic attitude and being supportive of our special character, would be advantageous.

Please note only those with the legal right to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role.
