Join our vibrant learning community and help us build a school where our students are empowered to be “awesome human beings.” We are seeking a passionate and innovative Primary STEM Teacher to ignite a love for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in our students from Years 1-8.

As our STEM specialist, you will be the driving force behind a hands-on, inquiry-based curriculum. You’ll work closely with classroom teachers to integrate core teachings into meaningful, project-based activities that solve real-world problems. This role is about more than just teaching subjects; it’s about fostering critical thinking, curiosity, and the essential problem-solving skills our students need to thrive.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing a progressive, hands-on STEM curriculum.
  • Managing and maintaining our dedicated makerspace, ensuring a safe and creative environment.
  • Collaborating with staff to weave STEM concepts throughout our school-wide “Units of Inquiry.”
  • Organising and leading extracurricular STEM activities, like clubs or science fairs.
  • Using your “gifts and talents” to not only support student learning but also uphold the strategic vision of our school.

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a STEM-related field.
  • Valid teaching certification.
  • Proven experience teaching at the primary level with a strong background in a STEM discipline.
  • A passion for inquiry-based learning and project-based methodology.

If you are a creative, collaborative, and inspiring educator who believes in nurturing the next generation of thinkers and doers, we would love to hear from you. Come help us build a school community where “by wisdom a house is built: by knowledge it is established.”
