The Rutherford Programme

The Rutherford Programme, named after Lord Earnest Rutherford, caters for children showing gifts and talents, particularly in Years 3 to 8.

We recognize the need for, and support, the provision of a programme for those gifted and talented students who demonstrate social, physical, emotional, behavioural, cultural and academic abilities and needs in all areas of the School. Making ongoing provision for children with special abilities and interests is a matter of equity and is necessary to enable them to reach their potential.
