English for Speakers of Other Languages

St Mark’s supports those children for whom English is a second or other language. Through collaboration with the class teacher and by ensuring cooperation within the class programme, the domestic ESOL teacher seeks to offer a programme which is advantageous to the student.

ESOL caters to students with little or no English and those with little control of English, and also those with a reasonable command of the language but with embedded errors.
