Parents Association
Contact Us: parentsassociation@st-marks.school.nz
The Parents Association is the sole official body representing all parents and parent groups (eg SMILE) at St Mark’s Church School. It aims to:
- promote good relations, communication and co-operation between the parents and the school
- raise funds to benefit the school and students generally
- ensure the views of parents and the Parents Association are made known to the Board
- further the interests and welfare of the students and the school*
Committee meetings are held on the first Monday of the month during term time. Starting at 7.30pm, and held in the staffroom on school grounds, we welcome all parents and caregivers. As part of the meeting we have a regular Principal’s update so everyone learns more about how the school works. It is also a good opportunity to meet other parents. Meetings generally take about an hour and a half.
