Make Your Mark Everyday

Welcome to St Mark’s Church School. St Mark’s Church School is an Anglican Independent School for girls and boys, from Preschool to Year 8. We are, in fact, the only co-educational independent primary school in Wellington.

Founded in 1917, St Mark’s has been educating boys and girls for a century. Offering a world-class education, we are proud to be an International Baccalaureate World School, authorised to deliver the Primary Years Programme (PYP) since 2010.

A vibrant and supportive atmosphere enables students to be individuals who fulfil their goals, and we support them to work hard to achieve them. At the same time, there is plenty of time to have fun in a happy and supportive environment.

  • We are the only independent co-educational school in Wellington.
  • We have been educating boys and girls from Preschool through to Year 8 for 100 years.
  • We are St Mark’s.

St Mark’s is a happy place; a successful blend of traditional values and modern-day learning. We provide an excellent academic foundation for children to develop a lifelong love of learning. Small enough to provide individual care to each child in a supportive, family environment, yet large enough to offer a wide range of opportunities to each child, St Mark’s offers every child the opportunity to shine.

We are immensely proud of our great school. Our website will show you a little about what a special place this is. Please come and see St Mark’s for yourself.
